Fleming Coatings supply equipment to D.M.R.T.

Members of the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team,

Garret Wilson & Hugh Dillon collecting their powder coated hedgehog pins from Paul Connolly of
Fleming Powder Coating.

The hedgehog pins are used in conjunction with other tools to enable abseiling
and winching activities.

The D.M.R.T. found it difficult to recover the previously uncoated pins
in heavy under growth because of their colour, their equipment officer G.Wilson
approached Fleming’s to see if powder coating would be suitable.

The fact that powder coating is more durable than conventional paint
made it the perfect choice.

Fleming Coatings Paint Belfast Flagship Project

Fleming Coatings recently completed a specialist paint project for one of our clients -Multispan Steel and also in conjunction with Ridgeway as part of the Titanic Quarter in Belfast

Fleming’s applied a two pack surface tolerant abrasion resistant, high solids, polyamine cured epoxy mastic coating to the 850 tonne of steel work at our premises here in St. Johnston, Co, Donegal

Part of the challenge with this project was to ensure the atmospheric conditions were correct to allow the paint to dry properly thus maximise the paint adhesion, we achieved this through our quality control processes such as regular D.F.T readings, temperature and dew point monitoring.

Fleming Coatings have the ability to apply from 25- 500 microns of various paints, this along with our technical support system means - ”when it comes to coatings we have it covered”.

Successful weekend for Fleming Doors

 

Fleming Doors enjoyed a high level of interest, under the blazing sun, from exhibiting
at the North West Garden Show at Castlefinn.

 

From the mixed audience interest was high in our range of domestic and industrial roller
doors and equally, from the agricultural sector, Fleming’s new Centurion Door
opened eyes to the strength and specification of this heavy duty roller door.

 

Displaying the Fleming range of Steel Fire and Security Doors gave the public the
opportunity to see the cost effective options of adding a heavy duty steel door
to their planned shed and garage projects.

 

Whilst a new marquee is required before the next show, due to the cooling wind, the
event was a huge success to Fleming Doors.
